Hi, I’m Amber, check out my favourite festive activities so far this season!
I am sure I’m not alone in saying, Christmas is my absolute favourite time of the year! The chill of the air, the twinkling lights, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine, are all a few of my favourite things about Christmas time. As soon as the clock strikes 12 on the 31st of October, I pull on my Christmas jumper and blast Michael Bublé’s Christmas album. Find out what Christmas activities around the city are my favourite so far.
Backyard Cinema’s Christmas Labyrinth
There is definitely something very appealing about snuggling under a blanket on a cold night, on a giant beanbag, sipping mulled wine and munching on a Christmas mince pie. At the Backyard Cinema these dreams can come true – I highly recommend this immersive cinematic experience! You begin by making your way through various secret enchanted tunnels with all sorts of surprises. These lead you to the beautiful indoor cinema, which is set in a magical wonderland, where you can enjoy your favourite Christmas films!
Ice Skating at the Natural History Museum
Ice skating at the Natural History Museum is an evening never to forget and definitely one of London’s most charming festive attractions. Despite coming home with a million bruises all over my body from falling over one too many times, the picturesque ice rink was lit by the glow of twinkling fairy lights and warmed by the scents of mulled wine. Definitely, one of my favourite activities to do at Christmas!
Taste of London
Would it be Christmas if you didn’t make it your mission to eat as much delicious food as humanly possibly during the two months of Christmas?! This is exactly what I did at the Taste of London Event over the weekend. At the stunning venue of East London’s Tobacco Dock, the space was transformed into a foodie wonderland. With so many tasty food stalls, there is definitely something for everyone at this foodie haven!
