The team here at Mask are always out and about, from site visits with clients, to new restaurants and pop-ups; we like to keep up with what’s going on in London. For this month’s Mask Does, we thought we would share with you all the fantastic places we’ve visited recently!
The Hampshire Penthouse
Last month we were invited to Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire to enjoy a five course meal at The Hampshire Penthouse. With panoramic views of the London skyline, this incredible venue would make the perfect event space, and can hold up to 60 guests seated (100 standing). It was great opportunity to get to see the penthouse in person and really envisage what could be done to transform the space.
Brasserie of Light
The Brasserie of Light is a beautiful space on the first floor in Selfridges, offering all day dining in a chic and contemporary environment. We visited the restaurant to try their afternoon tea and enjoy a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, tea and scones! Brasserie of Light makes for the perfect place to rest post shopping trip!
Natural History Museum
Last month we were lucky enough to be invited to the Natural History Museum (one of our favourite venues!) to preview the 2019 wildlife photographer of the year exhibition, followed by a tour of the space. We have worked with Natural History Museum before to host a winter dinner and dance, and it’s safe to say that this incredible space does not disappoint! If you haven’t already, we recommend heading down to see 2018 Wildlife Photographer of the Year before the 2019 exhibit takes over.
The Ace hotel is one of Shoreditch’s finest hotels, and their rooftop bar and terrace is just as great, offering incredible views over London. We went to their ‘rooftop fete’ to taste some of the famous Ace hotel cocktails and nibbles, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Make sure you pay a visit next time you’re in East London.
Fortnum & Mason in the Royal Exchange
At the end of 2018 Fortnum & Mason opened in the Royal Exchange, so we headed into the City to check it out! We sat at the stunning central bar to enjoy a cocktail and take in our surroundings. Just as you would expect from a Fortnum & Mason’s the service we received was second to none, and we would definitely recommend it for future dates and dinners!
We look forward to receiving your summer briefs, but don’t forget Christmas. We can’t believe how many venues are already getting booked up!
