It’s the biggest party night of the year and if you’re planning a New Year’s Eve celebration this year we’ve got some great tips to make sure it’s one to impress. Here are four creative New Year’s Eve themes you could use this year.
Nothing suits a New Year’s Eve party theme quite like glitter; we’re firm believers that you can never have too much of the stuff. Add sparkling details like gold accents, hanging clocks and glitter dipped candleholders and wait for the sparks to fly. And if you’re not afraid of mess we’ve never met a glitter cannon we didn’t love!
For instant warmth and plenty of fun take some inspiration from the slopes and go for an Alpine Ski Lodge look. This traditional winter theming is guaranteed to make your guests feel cosy, especially if you add plenty of glowing candles and cosy sheepskin throws. Have fun with retro items such as old skis and snow shoes and make sure there is plenty of gluhwein to go around!
With the Cursed Child on in the West End and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on the big screen, Harry Potter is one of this year’s must-have New Year’s Eve themes. Take your guests into the fantasy world of our favourite wizard with edible golden snitches, magic potions, flying keys and of course plenty of Butterbeer.
For a chic, modern theme use the ultimate New Year’s Eve tipple as your inspiration: Champagne. Add some glamour to your table setting with sequin tablecloths, sparkling snacks and maybe a bubbly bar or two. Cheers. Contrast the metalalic accents with black and white for an effortlessly chic New Year’s Eve party theme.
